Fibromyalgia, soft tissue rheumatism, chronical fatigue or burnout syndrome affects your life badly. Widespread muscle pain, fatigue and exhaustion are the most apparent symptoms. This, causes the life energy to lower down.
Fibromyalgia is seen in women mostly. In Turkey, there is about 1.3 million fibromyalgia patients. And if you constantly feel that you are tired, you might be suffering from fibromyalgia.
1 – Widespread Muscle / Joint Pain
Fibromyalgia cause widespread muscle, joint pain all around the body. Neck, nape, back, the area between shoulder blades are the mostly affected areas but hips, waist, knees and elbows can also be affected.
This condition is named soft tissue rheumatism as well. All muscles in the body ache. Even the smallest touch might feel like a bruise. And of course weakness and exhaustion come with it.
2 – Misery, Depression, Anxiety
Fibromyalgia patients gets diagnosed with depression, after a psychiatric evaluation but they do not respond the medications. The misery remains because fibromyalgia is way beyond depression.
Widespread pain, low life energy and hormonal disorders should be targeted altogether. Unless the life energy is fixed bio-electrically and the pain is not receded, it is impossible to be free from misery, depression and anxiety.
3 – Fibromyalgia Headache
Most fibromyalgia patients show signs of migraine and/or tension type headache and these get worse with fibromyalgia. In 80% of the cases, headache accompany the symptoms.
Fibromyalgia headache is constant. Migraine attacks are added to tension type headache. The muscles on the head and the face get tensed and clenching is the lead actor in here.
4 – Chronic Fatigue, Exhaustion
All fibromyalgia patients feel tired and suffer from chronical fatigue. They crawl out from their bed every morning and cannot even find the energy to do simplest things. They feel inexplicably exhausted.
The reason to that is the low life energy. And the worst part of the day is the morning because of clenching all night.
5 – Bowel Problems, Gas, Distention, Diarrhea
Bowel problems appear in the form of gas, distention and diarrhea. Constant distention makes the patient feel like they swallowed air and causes discomfort. Also, it sometimes cause diarrhea.
Bowel problems in fibromyalgia patients happen due to failures in bowel flora. The treatment thus, include some applications focused on rebalancing this flora.
6 – Amnesia, Attention and Concentration Deficit
Fibromyalgia affects your whole life. Pain, depression and chronic fatigue cause amnesia. Fibromyalgia patients cannot focus or concentrate on anything. Also the mind will slow down as well, together with the body.
But fibromyalgia is treatable and thus, your mental performance can be regained. This amnesia is temporary. Try working / studying by taking notes.
7 – Sleep Disorder
Waking up tired is very common in fibromyalgia. If the patient has sleep disorder, no matter how long they slept, they wake up tired.
Patients feel sleepy all the time but cannot sleep well. Sometimes this may lead to sleep deprivation or waking up frequently in the middle of the night. Also, all fibromyalgia patients clench their teeth at night.
8 – Tense Muscles and Morning Stiffness
Tense muscles and morning stiffness are very common amongst rheumatism patients. The whole body is tense in the morning and it slowly turns back to normal.
Fibromyalgia patients also suffer from morning stiffness. Also, the muscles in the neck and the back is always tense.
9 – Hormonal Disorders
Fibromyalgia can affect all functions of the body and cause problems, including hormonal disorders. Hypothyroid and chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis are very common amongst those patients. Also, if there is a genetic tendency, there might be reactive hypoglycemia and insulin secretion disorders.
This condition is common amongst the women in menopause. And early menopause, myoma and irregular bleedings are expected in those patients.
10 – Restless Leg Syndrome
Restless leg syndrome may accompany fibromyalgia. Patients complain about weird pain in the legs, prickling, tingling and burning on the soles of their feet. They feel the need to move their legs constantly.
Long flights and meetings are like a torture for these patients. Also, they have trouble sleeping since this condition wakes them up in the middle of the night to move their legs.
11 – Lack of Sexual Drive
There is nothing more normal than a depressive, constantly in pain, chronically exhausted, miserable person to lose their sexual drive. Also in these patients, hormonal problems lower the appetite as well.
Patients, who are already having trouble with even the simplest jobs, avoid this as well since it might cause extra problems.
