Back pain includes neck and low back pain besides the spine itself. It is the second most common complaint after headaches and there are some things you can do to at least prevent yourself from getting them, if not to cure completely.

1 – Correct Sleeping Position
The most comfortable position is the correct sleeping position for back pain sufferers. And this position requires additional pillows.
One pillow is enough to support the neck.

Also, being overweighed is considered as an extra but this does not mean that fit people are free from back pain or hernia.
4 – Proper Lifting and Carrying
Herniated discs are mostly caused by wrong lifting techniques. Thus, one needs to learn how to do this properly.
Instead of your lower back, you need to use your legs and glute. Therefore do not lift bending over but bending your knees.
5 – Do Not Leave Your Hair Wet
Muscle spasms are what lie beneath neck and back pains. Since the hair causes the neck and back to cool while drying and this coolness causes muscle spasms, patients with neck pain cannot leave their hair wet. Other underlying reasons also intensify the problem and that is why neck and back pains sharpen.
Do not leave your hair wet if you have neck or back pain.
6 – Exercising and Stretching Muscles
Neck, low back and back pain cause spasms in the related muscles. Thus the patient can be relaxed by exercising, especially stretching since these help the shortening problem in those muscles.
Some specific moves lengthen and strengthen the muscles. And the best and the most effective workout for this is plates.
7 – Relaxing
Muscle spasms cause spinal pain, and mental strain causes muscle spasms. Thus, practices like yoga or meditation helps both relaxing the mind and the body.
If your health is not getting in the way, you should definitely do yoga, meditation or breathing exercises to ease spinal pain.
